Hope for the City Workshop: Addiction

April 2, 2018

Churches in areas of poverty face unique challenges.  Issues such as of drug and alcohol addiction, joblessness, lack of education, and sexual abuse  are often intensified. Many groups and non-profits come along and offer hope.  While these organizations can indeed help, the one hope for the church is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

It's our goal to build healthy churches in the inner city.  As part of that desire, we believe we need to be trained, resourced, and equipped to reach the whole person. Discipleship involves getting our hands dirty and walking with someone for the long haul.  It means.

"Hope for the City" workshops seek to train and encourage urban churches in their work.

Our next Workshop will be on the topic of addiction.  Come and explore what, exactly, addiction is and how we might help.

Vision trips are great way to see what ministry at ONE HOPE looks like on a daily basis. Consider coming on a five-day vision trip to Baltimore where you will experience life with Garden Church Members, ONE HOPE Interns, visit future church planting sites and pray with us for the work the Lord is doing.
